What does Ereyna Labs do?
We design and build electronics, IoT systems and applied AI tools across three sectors: agriculture and food systems, defence and security, and commercial industry. We work end-to-end, from PCB design and embedded firmware through to cloud platforms and analytics.
Where are you based?
Shepton Beauchamp, Somerset, United Kingdom. We work with clients across the UK, EU and US.
Is this just consulting, or do you actually build hardware?
We build. The team designs schematics, lays out PCBs, sources components, writes firmware, and ships field-tested units. Consulting and integration sit on top of that, not in place of it.
What IoT stack do you use?
It depends on the deployment. For long-range, low-power agricultural and remote-site work we lean on LoRa mesh networking. We have demonstrated 20km+ range on hardware costing under $10/node. For closer-range work we use Wi-Fi, BLE or cellular as appropriate.
Do you open-source any of your work?
Yes, selectively. Our Pi Pico 2W + RFM9x LoRa hardware platform is being released under MIT, with reference firmware and PCB files. The goal is to make our agriculture and remote-monitoring work cheap and replicable.
What does the AI / automation work look like?
Two flavours: (1) edge AI that runs on the same low-cost hardware we deploy in the field, and (2) workflow automation for clients, taking repetitive internal data and reporting work off their plate using LLM- and rules-based pipelines.
Can you build dashboards and analytics on top of existing data?
Yes. Advanced analytics and data modeling is one of our standalone services. We integrate with the data you already have, whether it's from our hardware or an existing system, and build SaaS-grade dashboards or predictive models.
How do engagements typically work?
We scope a piece of work end-to-end: a discovery call, a written proposal with phases and deliverables, then build. For hardware projects we'll usually run a paid prototyping phase before quoting full production.
Do you take small projects?
Yes, where the brief is clear. A focused two-week prototype is often better than a six-month committee-built platform. If the work is too small for us, we'll usually be able to point you at someone better suited.
Do you publish research?
Yes. The lab side of Ereyna Labs produces applied-research write-ups, technical evaluations and field-test reports. Some sit on our Articles page, some are commissioned for clients.
How do I get in touch?
Email support@ereynalabs.com or call +44 7946 243497, Mon–Fri 08:00–17:00 GMT. The fastest path for new projects is a short email describing the problem, the constraints, and a rough timeframe.
